The Company has established an HSE management mechanism of "centralized governance,
graded management, diversify instruction, entity responsibility, and obligation taken by the all" .
HSE work is integrated into strategic planning, operational planning,
and the performance appraisal management system,
to advance the construction and implementation of the HSE system
as well as to improve the Company's HSE management.
Classified and Graded Supervision
We supervise the HSE by business sectors, scale of operation, and level of HSE risk from high to low.
We also implement the graded management and local responsibility system that higher authorities provide graded supervision over.

HSE Culture Construction
Carry out characteristic HSE cultural activities, such as Safety Production Month, Fire Prevention Publicity Month, etc.
Conduct HSE behavior observation, correct and deal with potential hazards in time.
Regularly conduct HSE education and training for employees.
We have formulated theHSE Management Guidelines for Contractors,Suppliers and Their Related Parties,
established the concept of equal management for occupational health and safety production,
and strengthened guidance and supervision over safety training,safety activities,team building,monitoring and evaluation,
systems and standards,on-site operations,and labor protection for contractors,suppliers,and their related parties.
Maintain close communication with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns,and work together to address issues in HSE management.
Provide HSE training and support to stakeholders to progressively improve their own safety management capabilities.
Implement ex-ante,interim,and ex-post full-process supervision and management for stakeholder entities and their personnel.
Incorporate the accident related indicator of contractor personnel into the HSE assessment framework and strictly assess safety performance.
We included the HSE system certification into the work plan, actively encouraged all subsidiaries
to pass the review and certification, and continued to increase the coverage of
occupational health and safety system certification.
In 2023, the headquarter of CMSK, as well as additional 5 subsidiary units, have obtained the ISO 45001 Certification of
Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
27 projects from units including China Merchants Cruise, China Merchants Property Operation and Service, China Merchants Zhangzhou,
China Merchants Commercial Property Management, and China Merchants Aden Hospitality have successfully met the safety
standardization requirements through assessments by relevant government departments.
In the future,
the Company will continue to advance the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification,
and drive the standardization of safe production to achieve a continuous increase in the total number of qualified entities.
